Biography
Dr. Uttam K Pati an eminent professor in the department of biotechnology pursued his Ph. D from University of New Brunswick, Canada and D. Phil, Allahabad University, Allahabad. He got post doc from Max-Planck Institute, Germany and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. He also took position as an acting director in JNU. He honored with Medical College of Georgia Institutional Award in the year (1991-1992).
Research Interest
Molecular chaperones & gene regulation. Molecular mechanism of hypoxia. Cancer biology, Tumor suppressor protein p53, Biomarkers.
