Why you should attend World Cancer 2020??

International conferences are great opportunities not only for researchers and scientists, but also for experts, policy makers, stakeholders and students. Here are six reasons for you to attend International conferences in your field. There is an abundance of academic conferences today as compared to the past. This brings us to a simple question, “Why should one attend an academic conference?” Below are reasons why people say they attend our conferences.

At a conference, innovative ideas are thrown about and new information is exchanged among experts. Its purpose could be one of the following: An academic conference is a gathering of scientists or academicians, where research findings are presented or a workshop is conducted.

Attending a seminar has numerous benefits, including improving communication skills, gaining expert knowledge, networking with others and renewing motivation and confidence.

Learning: Attending conferences, especially the international ones, gives you the chance to listen to different points of view and learn new ideas and trends in your field. They also provide you with new techniques, new types of equipment, data that is yet to be published, and investigators that you may not have heard of. Conferences are priceless chances to sharpen your saw by learning new skills in a different environment.

Discussion: Attending conferences allows you to learn new information and tactics from hearing others’ presentations, you also can converse with other researchers from different universities and even countries you may have only heard or read about.

Presentation: Presenting your research in a conference helps you in different ways. It presents your work to the scientific circles and helps to improve your work by getting feedback from the experts and influencers in your field. Presenting a paper is one of the main objectives of an academic conference participant. The presenter will have the chance to present a paper in front of colleagues of the same or similar fields of study and will be able to receive positive feedback and constructive criticism about their research. The exchange of ideas on fields of interests seeds the links for future collaborations across the world. There are many who were once GAI conference participants now developing research projects and writing papers together.

Visiting a new place: Attending conferences allows you to discover a new place or city where the conference is being held and learn about its people and culture. Many conferences support their attendees with a list of great places they can visit in the conference’ city or country. You can also extend your participation in the conference to a well-deserved holiday in that country and have memorable days.

Networking for future collaborations: International Conferences are great opportunities to connect with attendees from different perspectives and views, learn from them, make new relationships, and strengthen existing ones. Conferences pave the way for scientific cooperation by meeting and connecting with researchers from different countries. They also help in cooperating collective research projects such as edited books, special issues in peer-reviewed journals or funding applications. In addition, Conferences allow Experts, Stakeholders and Policymakers to communicate with researchers with innovative approaches and benefit from these relations in their businesses. Attending an academic conference is an opportunity to build networks with other academics and experts in the same or similar field of studies all around the world and to share thoughts on recent advances and technological breakthroughs. It is an opportunity to expand the knowledge that one has and upgrade performance in accomplishing institutional objectives. Conferences bring together people who share a common discipline from different parts of the world, bringing different forms of ideas which build into something greater.  As you step up and attend conferences you build a network of people who can raise your calibre of work to greater heights as you achieve shared objectives.

Academic Reputation: Attending important international conferences will make you a known figure in academic circles, not to mention the benefits for your resume as it will create an impression that you are an active member of the academic community.

Travelling: An academic conference is a great way to have a “break” from your academic responsibilities at the university and discover different cities of the world. Be assured that you’ll feel relaxed and refreshed when you return to your institution after the conference.

Added Research Value: For students and researchers, academic conferences help to make research on a particular subject easier. They provide access to various research activities related to a particular subject with current findings and developments anticipated from them.

Publication: Another common reason for attending a conference is no doubt publication. Conference proceedings are always a good way to have your research published and indexed. You’ll also have the opportunity to publish your research in one of the journals.

Socialization and the culture factor: Meeting new people with different cultures and dispositions enlightens your way of thinking in your field of study. You will witness some of the many different aspects and solutions which exist on the same issues. You’ll also have the chance to socialize with your colleagues at coffee breaks, lunches and social activities. Imagine a conference without socializing or learning more about other people’s cultural tradition? This cannot be summed up adequately as people from different parts of the world who have uniqueness in their ways of living which you are often surprised to learn from.

Find out what’s new: It is vital to find out what’s new in your field of study to survive in an academic discipline. Academic conferences will keep you updated on new findings that have taken place. This is in fact one of the major reasons why one should attend an academic conference.

The focus and energy of Like-Minded Individuals: When one attends an academic conference he or she is sure to meet people of his or her same stature, mindset and goals. This is a motivational factor as one aspires to overcome fears and achieve one’s dreams.

Conclusion:

In today’s fast changing world, attending a conference has become a “must” to survive in an academic discipline. Many academics have become aware of this fact as the number of conferences and participants increase dramatically. We look forward to collaborating with you at World Cancer 2020.

Track 21: Cancer: Psychological & Social Aspects

If one is fighting cancer, it is not uncommon to experience psychological distress. Whether it is coping with the diagnosis, the challenges of treatment, or continued worry about a recurrence, emotions brought on by the cancer experience can be difficult to handle. Cancer’s effects are far more than physical. Many survivors find that cancer’s impact spills over into the emotional, psychological and spiritual realms. This might happen either during or right after treatment - or not for years.

Track 22: Cancer Awareness and Survival

Increased cancer awareness improves survival. Social and Economic Impact also harm the quality of cancer care. People who are not financially not strong do not receive good treatment. Cancer symptom awareness and cancer survival are associated. Cancer Awareness Program is conducted by government and many organizations to bring the awareness in the people to decrease the cancer levels & towards all oncology programs. Campaigns should focus on improving awareness about cancer symptoms, especially in socioeconomically deprived areas.

Track 23: Cancer Biopsy

A biopsy is a medical examination usually done by a surgeon, an interventional radiologist, or an interventional cardiologist concerning extraction of sample cells or tissues for scrutiny to determine the existence of a disease state. Mainly the biopsy is of two categories, the excisional biopsy in which the affected tissues or cells are removed entirely and the incisional biopsy in which some sample is extracted from the affected region for diagnosis. When cancer is suspected, the first attempt will be excisional biopsy if it doesn’t work they will go for incisional biopsy to determine whether the cancer is benign or malignant. Sometimes in biopsy if the area of suspicion is not found, X- rays or ultrasound can be used to trace the area it is known as ultra sound guided biopsy or stereotactic guided biopsy. The safest mode of diagnosis and a minor surgical procedure is called fine needle aspiration. A noninvasive method of diagnosing cancer is liquid biopsy. Cancer pathogenesis is considered as a most important procedure after biopsy. Oncology - Clinical Trials, in which the biopsy is considered as an important technique. Cancer Science and Therapy Conferences paves a way towards a break-through in cancer research field

Track 24: Cancer Metastasis

The spread of cancer from one part of the body to another part or to lymph nodes, which are not directly connected to each other is called cancer metastasis. Cancer is considered as a deadly disease mainly because of its ability to spread in the body. This metastasis takes place through the blood stream or the lymph system. The most common metastasis parts of the body are the lungs, bones, liver and brain. The metastatic cancer cells does not resemble the feature of the cells where it was found but it resembles the primary cancer cells i.e. it was considered as a next stage of the primary cancer cells. All metastatic cancers are considered as advanced cancers. The cancer survival and treatment is influenced by whether the cancer cells are localized or spreads to other parts. When the cancer starts to spread it is very difficult to control. Even if the treatment is continued, it will be only palliative care. The pain killing will be mostly by Anti-cancer drugs i.e. chemotherapy. Cancer Management is a multidisciplinary approach that deals with the various type of cancer complications and its preventive measures. Cancer Conferences is an important key for both educational and clinical guidance for managing cancer patients.
